Didn’t stay here but stopped for breakfast. Very friendly & very clean. Sorry I didn’t stay here. Looked so nice.

This place was great. The hostesses were very nice. Oscar accommodated us with the beds being placed in the same bunk beds. Great and clean place.

I never write negative reviews, but felt compelled to share this experience for fellow pilgrims.

When I contacted the albergue via WhatsApp for a reservation, they asked me to send my credit card details through the messaging app. This felt unsafe (I'd recently had fraudulent charges), and I'd never been asked for a card to hold a reservation. I asked if I could provide it over the phone instead. I was told not to worry, they've never had issues with people sending their cc info. They won't do anything with it. When I insisted, she sent me a Booking.com link, which I completed. She mentioned nothing about it being completely non-refundable, and in hindsight, instead of trusting her, I should've read the fine print.

As luck would have it, two days before my stay, I injured my foot on rocky terrain and couldn't continue walking. I contacted them over 24 hours in advance to cancel. Despite the legitimate injury, she was completely unsympathetic and refused any refund on the €15 booking, citing, "there are rules" and they must charge me the full amount even though I'm not able to make it.

With each message, she started becoming more and more unprofessional, then implied I was lying about my injury and demanded medical documentation for a potential refund. I certainly wasn't going to send her my private medical records at this point. And what hostal asks for that? Keep in mind that we're just talking about a bunk bed that was only 15 euros.

The whole interaction just left a really bad taste in my mouth. Most Alburgue show some care for the Pilgrims. This one, however is purely a business, and that too without any customer service for their clients. I would definitely skip it.

This place was lovely. We splurged on a private room for two, but the bunks in the dorm looked absolutely comfy and nice. Showers were great in terms of water pressure and hot water! The hosts were kind and attentive and we got a delightful pilgrim meal to cap off our day. Highly recommend!

A great surprise. Nicely designed, very (very) clean. A beautiful garden, comfortable, and terrific owners. This is a great place to relax. Highly recommended.

This is a nice place to stay. A lovely garden to spend time in convenient bar attached where breakfast can be bought. Nice kitchen. Helpful staff. Towel included in the price.

Walked the entire Norte and now to Muxia. The highlight so far! Great rural location, beautiful walk to get here.
Superb hospitality, facilities, and food.

Could not recommend more highly!
