Wonderful family, this place was a restaurant since 1930, it feels like staying with relatives, David, Daniel and their mum are looking after you like you are their siblings or children, one of the most authentic experiences on my Camino. I took a private room. Muchas gracias a la familia !

I was picked up at Casa Pepito and taken to the albergue. Everything was great and I enjoyed the evening meal very much.

The hospitality at this Albergue was exceptional. David, the host, and his mother were outstanding in their hospitality. The environment was clean and the facilities of good quality. The Pilgrim’s dinner was delicious and great value at 12€. Those that chose the private rooms were very happy with their choice. David picked us up from the local cafe and dropped us back the next morning. Highly recommended.

Nada que decir de este albergue con gran historial. Los hospitaleros muy amables, todo limpio, y una cena como las hacía mi madre. La hospitalera preocupada porque no había tomado desayuno. La asegure que nunca la tomaba. Gracias David, y mama de David.

Outstanding afternoon and evening at this beautiful albergue, the valley home built by the hospitalero’s grandparents in 1930. The family has been welcoming pilgrims for years, and a warm spirit radiates from every corner. We enjoyed a beer and sidra on the sunny patio,
then moved to the cozy fire in the living room as the evening air settled. Comfortable beds, delicious dinner and breakfast with homemade jam, comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, all with the oeregrino in mind.

David and his family gave a lovely friendly service. The room was clean as was the bathroom. A nice pilgrams dinner and the normal basic breakfast.

They shuttle you from Peon and back the next morning.

This was a wonderful Albergue. David and his mom were very good hosts. The accommodations was clean and nice. I opted for a private room in an albergue that was amazing. The dinner was so much food and was good. Carne and potato and soup and salad. Highly recommend this albergue

I stayed at Peon because I did not want to walk the whole way to Gigon. You meet the owner David at the bar in town and are transported to a cute farmhouse with lots of rooms and character. The communal meals were delicious. In the morning you are transported back to the Norte or if you chose you can walk towards Oviedo to start the Primitivo. Well worth the stop.
