Llegué 3 minutos después de las siete tras un mensaje poco amable preguntándome si llegaría a tiempo. Estaba ocupado vendiendo vino a un peregrino. Así que mis últimos metros apresurados habían sido innecesarios. Cuando me tocó el turno, recibí toda la artillería: que llegaba tarde y que no habría habido cama para mí durante la temporada alta. Me sentí tratado como un niño pequeño... La ubicación es realmente hermosa, las áreas comunes son agradables, pero no encontré muy limpias las instalaciones sanitarias y las camas realmente apretadas juntas. Me dio la sensación de un explotador.

Después de un largo día de caminata llegué poco antes de las 19:00.
El dueño Manuel no fue muy acogedor, incluso un poco enojado. No me sentí bienvenido. El lugar es espartano y hay demasiadas camas en los dormitorios pequeños.

Sólida casa de campo antigua con vistas a pastos, valle y colinas enfrente, vistas hermosas, alojamiento acogedor. El propietario Manuel es un tipo rudo y mayor que cuida mucho a los peregrinos. Buena cocina, traiga su comida, Manuel vende cerveza y vino pero compré una buena botella en el pueblo de antes donde hay dos pequeños mercados.

Lugar bonito. Solo con vistas a la montaña, así que trae comida contigo. Tiene tablas de lavar si quieres lavar tu ropa.

Absolutely beautiful setting on a hill looking out at mountains. There is a terrace to sit and enjoy the view.

As others have noted, it is wise to prepare your food beforehand and bring it with you. However, if you didn’t prepare anything, Manuel had a packet for sale with everything you need to make spaghetti and tuna. It cost €5. There is also a vending machine in the kitchen with snack foods and drinks including Coke and beer and some microwave meals. The kitchen has everything you need to cook - fridge, microwave, stove, oven, pots and hot water kettle.
Amenities are basic but sufficient. There are disposable sheets and pillowcases and a blanket on each bed.
Note that bicycle storage is not allowed.

Erg mooi op top van heuvel bij een
kerk. Gastvrij ontvangst en slapen in pittoreske kamers. Grote keuken en wasruimte.

Probably one of the best albergue I've been to so far.

First of all, Manuel, the host, is very nice and accommodating. He is very dedicated into making the albergue feel like home for pilgrims.
Don't hesitate to talk with him, he really has great things to say about the place!

Then, the place itself is quite big, it can host many pilgrims. It's located in a quiet hill away from the city and offers a gorgeous view on the mountains.

There are plenty of showers and toilets and it's clean.
There is also a kitchen with all you need to eat and cook. Just be aware that there was no pan when we were there, so if you need to boil pasta for example you need to bring your own.

There are tables in different places and even a very comfortable couch outside, it invites pilgrims to socialize together, but if you feel more like introspective, you'll find cozy and quiet places as well.

To summarize, it's a cozy place with a lot of character and I definitely recommend stopping there for the night!

In the green countryside, spartiate if you need a lot of confort but authentic camino experience with lot of room. All it's here thanks to the volunteer Manuel who take care of this place since 15 years.
