A hamlet near the turnoff for the Playa del Silencio — one of the most beautiful and least accessible beaches on the Asturian coast. The beach lives up to its name. No services in the hamlet.

Hostel to recommend. Victor welcomed us wonderfully. He opened this hostel last year. The place is clean and pleasant. Victor shares dinner with us and that's very rare on the trail. You can spend the end of the day outside and you are very close to the 2 viewpoints that offer magnificent views of Playa del Solencio. You can swim there but be careful as it's a pebble beach subject to swell.

The pilgrim hostel at Playa del Silencio, just a few meters from the viewpoint and the path down to the beach, with the bonus of unique hospitality and the guarantee of a delicious dinner… make this place one of my best memories from the Camino, thank you Victor!

There is a new hostel called Albergue Playa del Silencio, it's right on the Camino de Santiago route, no need to detour. It has a very large terrace where you can rest and sunbathe and have a beer or two. The hostel is wonderful, completely new with the best beds on the Camino—everything is memory foam. And with quality linens. Plus it's right next to one of the best beaches in Asturias, Playa del Silencio. So everything here is wonderful.

I was the only one person who arrived on 17/10. Still got a nice dinner, the host is super nice. The place is just completely new, beautiful bathroom, clean and modern room. Few minutes to stunning Playa Del Silencio. I highly recommend it...

There's a new albergue here called Albergue Playa del Silencio, on the turn off road to the beach. It's lovely and new, and the host is really nice.
