not sure what the reviews below are on about. the dormitory and beds are similar to other albergues, and they even have real cotton sheets (not disposable). there are curtains between the bunk beds so you don’t feel like you are looking directly at the person across the floor from you when you lie down.

i was here on a friday and there was no meal offered, she said the cook doesn’t work on fridays. not a problem as lourenzá is a big town anyway.

maybe the “stay away” review is from the owner of another albergue, or they were expecting a private room, haha!

Awful experience here. 12 beds crammed into a tiny room. Bed incredibly old and uncomfortable and LOUD. You hear every movement of everyone in the tiny overcrowded room. 10 men shared 1 tiny bathroom. It was awful. No dinner was offered or mentioned. No breakfast was offered or mentioned.

Do not come here!

not too many bathrooms which was ok as we were not so many people. dinner was basic for the price as was breakfast. owner has bunny which you might spot. could imagine it being cramped if it was full

Loved this stay! Beautiful hosts, amazing old building with a lovely communal area. The evening meal was just fantastic- all homemade and super generous. So pleased we choose this albergue. A special stay.

I was greeted by the husband and wife who own and operate this alburgue. They were both very welcoming, friendly and informative of their place. My room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was also. They have laundry services available to you, free coffee and tea and a couple of different places to lounge. Dinner was so delicious and plentiful.
I highly recommend this place to stay.
Thank you for lovely accommodations.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

While the accommodation is nice and staff reasonably friendly, beds are assigned as opposed to first come first serve and bunk rooms are crowded and very poorly ventilated. Didn’t quite live up to expectations.

This is the nicest albergue I've been to so far. There is a basic breakfast and a great three course dinner, handcooked. The rooms are very nice, it is an old restored house, with a lovely Spanish flavour. The operators are friendly and I really recommend to come here. Great place to be.

Very clean albergue with dinner and self-service simple breakfast options.
