Great place, very chill. Nice garden, pool and jacuzzi and very y comfortable beds! I slept so good. They have those little pod beds with curtains, so you have privacy and silence. Didn't hear the snorer at all.
Food was basic but good and better than the cafe around the corner. Every one ate there so it was very nice. Go there!

It was lovely relaxing on the lawn after a big day of walking. Also a pool and jacuzzi to choose from. Breakfast was plentiful and was included in the Albergue process, and dinner was an extra €12. Dinner was basic but good, probably a bit overpriced for what we got. The beds are comfortable and very private and quiet.

I texted ahead and they were very responsive and seemed very nice, check in is after 1pm.

I cannot confirm if they are closed or not since i found a different place to stay but I was running late and could not arrive until 7pm. I ran into Fernanda (an absolute angel) the owner of Casa Fernanda who was worried about me walking in the dark and that Casa Sagres might be closed for the night as is apparently very common this time of year. I ran into this problem just yesterday arriving at a municipal I assumed that was a fluke but apparently it is the norm

Technically Casa Sagres IS open but pilgrims should arrive by 5pm or make sure to give them your arrival time if you want a secure check in!

Highly recommended! We are walking the Camino de Santiago and stayed in a private room with our own bathroom.
The hosts were incredibly kind, everything was spotless and carefully arranged for tired pilgrims to rest. The lady of the house prepared dinner for us — it truly felt like being at home with family.
An unforgettable experience!

Loved my stay here. EUR32 for a shared room, dinner and breakfast was decent value. Jacuzzi was very pleasant and the shared dinner was great to get chatting to other pilgrims. Family hosting are also very kind.

The photos of the alberge look much worse than it really is. Everything is really clean and taken care of. There is a spacious bathroom and a good kitchen. They also have a pool, which is magical at the end of the walking stage!

The family who has this place, are the best. Very beautiful hostel and everything was perfect.

Friendly host who accepted me at 6pm after 10hrs walk…
Dinner served (€10 with wines) at 7pm after a nice warm shower and great music…
There’s still breakfast for the price of €20… even i dont need breakfast but i will still join the group for good chat before the next km cover
Love it

Great place! New and clean, and an amazing shower. 8 people can stay here, which is always nice. The host is super friendly and live in the house next door. The garden is absolutely wonderful to sit and chill in.

The dinner is nice. You are not eating with the family, but eating what they are eating. It is lovely, and totally worth it. Vegetarian friendly.

Definitely worth a visit <3
