When we spotted this albergue, it mentioned that, as well as the dormitory, there was a double room available, which we reserved online.
When we arrived, we were told that the double room wasn't at the albergue, but at a different address. We eventually found the place, a private house, some short distance away. We were "welcomed" by an old lady into her home. She took ages trying to complete the registration forms before showing us to our room. This was reasonably sized but with very dated decorated with somewhat run down.decor. The main lighting was a multilayer fitting with only a few bulbs actually working. The bathroom was some distance away, along a corridor, past another small bedroom and only available by going through another, unoccupied, bedroom. The water was hot but was the only thing that was warm in the house. There was no heating and the whole place was very cold. Fortunately, the bed was warm.
The following morning, we awoke at 7am. We had been told the previous night that breakfast wouldn't be before 8 am. We waited until sometime after 8 a.m., but there was still nobody around.
The house now felt even colder than the previous night, and there was no sign of the old lady or the promised breakfast.
That was the final straw.
We decided that we would just leave. Achieving even that was not easy as when reached the garden gate we found it locked, still no old lady around to let us out. Fortunately, we suddenly remembered that the key ring that we had left on the hall table held several keys, one for the bedroom, one for the outside door, and, fortunately, one for the gate. We left, but it felt as though we were escaping.

I stayed here it was 20€ which included a breakfast which we made ourselves with food left out for us. Many bunks 5 that’s beds for 10 in a small area but just three people staying which was good as there was only one bathroom.
