If you’re traveling alone DO NOT stay in this place. Keep on walking. Place is outskirts of Grañon, nothing like the pic. No pool or restaurant. Needs major clean up.
The host rude and unwilling to solve any issues you may encounter. Bathroom in the 2nd floor needs some TLC. no curtains in the room for privacy I had to use the extra towels as curtain. Plugs for charging your phone not very accessible. If you want a small lamp bring your own the host didn’t care. Sheets are clean but lots of broken things. Someone punch a hole thru one door. I’m not sure who is doing any inspections but they obviously missed this place. 2nd time in El Camino and this is by far the worst place I had to stay as everything else is booked Sleeping with my walking clothes so I can be ready to go at first light. Today is Oct 4, 2025

There is no bar or restaurant, and it is not 1km from town or in a wooded area. Place clean and okay, but misleading info.

Great place. Extra 10 min walk away from the camino. So worth it. Quiet and surrounded by trees. If you try to book with booking it shows no availability all the time. Contact info shown here is wrong. This place is under new management. Old management still gets reservations and sends pilgrims to another albergue. New management is a young couple. Alex and Tania. They keep this place so clean. Great beds and great meal. Very accommodating. Stayed here Oct 2018

Camino de Sant…

An excellent hermitage attached to a small beautiful church. Beautiful area around to relax in. Cost is € 6. A bit of a walk outside Grañón but worth every step. Showers are beautifully hot. Excellent bar and restaurant on site. It’s a fantastic place. Absolutely love Tania and her smile. Sweetest person. Would stay here any day without hesitation. Camino de Sant…

We were tired after a long walk but took on the extra km or so to get to this very special spot. By far the best we stayed so far. Make the effort, its worth it. Great accommodation, great food, great people

It’s 1.6km from the town centre, and the dormitory was closed the day I visited in mid September 2019
