A very cosy place with a lots of charm. Opened this year, the hosts put a lot of passion into the place. When we arrived, they also immediately asked if we need water which was super nice and helpful. Would stay here again on my next Camino.

Great spot to stay after coming over the hill! EUR15 was decent value. Great setup of common areas, comfortable with boardgames etc. Offered dinner for EUR8 as it was a Tuesday and the local cafe was closed.

Situated after the steepest climb on the Portuguese camino, you find Bota Rota. The nicest hosts, such nice rooms (I stayed in a private room and really enhoyed it).

The facilities are both clean, functional and extemely charming. In the garden you will find a fresh water pool, hammock and places to relax.

You sense that the people who own the place really care about the atmosphere.

Breakfast possible and close to a small caffee (a couple of minutes away tops).

My warmest recommendations.
