I stayed at Gite Compostella for two nights before embarking on my Camino today. The hosts were absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable about The Way. I stayed in a room with two bunk beds (four beds total), which had a blanket and pillow provided. The accomodation was neat and tidy, with shared bathrooms and shared living areas. The kitchen was well equipped, and I opted in for the pilgrims breakfast which consisted of a fresh baguette, croissant, a glass of orange juice, and a hot chocolate, tea or coffee. It was only a short walk into town and the pilgrims office, with lovely views over the Pyrenees. Overall I had a great stay here and it started off my pilgrimage beautifully. I would definitely recommend Gite Compostella to other pilgrims, and would stay here again myself.

12th May 2025. We stayed here for one night, the hosts kindly picked us up from the train
station. It was clean and tidy and having the curtained beds helped a lot with the privacy in a shared dorm. There were plenty of toilet and shower facilities but there are no toiletries. We didn’t expect this just saying! We didn’t stay for the breakfast so can’t comment but wish we had as couldn’t find much in the village open early. Only a 5 minute walk to the Pilgrims office. We would stay here again and we would recommend it.

Stayed here the first night. The owners picked me up at the trainstation. Nice and comfortable. Shared bathroom and toilets, also for private rooms.
