A bar and albergue opened here in 2018, making it possible to divide the route into manageable days without any stretch longer than 26 km. The camino passes through quickly, continuing through the twin hamlets of As Portelinas and As Abeleiroas toward Corzon.

Super warm welcome

Great outdoor area so everyone can eat together and socialise

great atmosphere and cheap bar. Meals provided so no hunting down meals when tired !
Lockers for bags. Beds are fine .. everyone in one big room. Highly recommend

Beautiful place with bar and restaurant. The beds are nice and confortable, nice outdoor terrace, bar and restaurant.

This is a great place to stay after a big day from Negreira! I arrived after long hours in pure sun, and Jessi was wonderful and welcoming. The aircon is great, facilities are good (washing machines, dryers and drying racks, the restaurant/bar is good as well). The pilgrims menu is good and the beds are comfortable. Would recommend as a good stopping point!!!

After an hour of walking in torrential, horizontal rain it was so very nice to arrive to this albergue with lovely Tanya to welcome everyone. She knew everyone by name and was so warm and kind. Bathrooms are clean, room is spacious with plenty of space between bunkbeds.
The veggie option on the menu was very good.

This is THE BEST albergue and the 12€ dinner was fabulous, with vego options! Lovely hosts and worth planning your walk to stay here.

I read all the positive comments and chose to walk 7kms further today to experience this albergue for myself. I’m so glad I did!
On a practical level the albergue has everything a pilgrim could want: lovely indoor and outdoor communal areas; super comfortable beds with warm quilts; lockable lockers (no coins required); washing and drying machines and hand wash facilities; big fridge, kettle, microwave; delicious home-cooked food (menú del día with 3 choices each course, bread, wine or water, pudding and great coffee…all for 12€); and, best of all, a wonderful, welcoming, friendly, professional hostess in Tanya.
10/10…if I ever walk this way again I will definitely stay here a second time :-)

If you are headed to Finisterre or Muxia, this is a wonderful stop to split the final leg from Negreira. The albergue is super clean and comfortable. There’s a basic kitchen with microwave, but you won’t need it as the restaurant is right across from the albergue. If you are a vegetarian, they have options, including for the pilgrim meal in the evening. The hosts are accommodating, super friendly, and speak English, if that’s important to you.

By this point, you’ve likely stayed in dozens of albergues. This is one of the best. It exudes character and warmth, and is well worth the stop to recharge for your push to the end of the world.

I absolutely loved my stay here! One of the best dinners on the Camino from the Albergue restaurant - reasonably priced for 2 courses, dessert and wine. The beds include lovely soft blankets, the windows open for cross-breeze and still have curtains, everyone in the Albergue slept so soundly! Breakfast starts at 7 so it’s a perfect pilgrim start. A sure sight for sore eyes after a long day, but easy to split the distance from here to Cee. Everything you could want and need for a Camino stay with excellent Camino spirit.
