What a wonderful albergue and experience. I was welcomed so warmly and treated incredibly well during my stay. And my gosh, dinner portions were MASSIVE. You will NOT starve here. If you can, plan your journey to end up here for a night.

Best stay of the Camino so far. Comfy upper bunk bed, good laundry access and food, beautiful courtyard, and helpful host. Couldn't have asked for more.

STAY HERE don't push yourself to Astorga! So friendly, welcoming a great place to stay

€16 for a bed & €16 for dinner. She takes visa

One of the best rural albergues ever - DONOT go to the Parochial Albergue , it's ROUGH. Went there first. For €1 more you can actually stay somewhere beautiful & comfortable - Pura Vida

The hostess, Maria, is a gem! She is so
outgoing, friendly, cheerful and helpful!

There was a beautiful.welcome sign outside of the albergue's door with the names of all who had reservations. How posh is that?

Also, a lovely courtyard was just inside the entry.

I stayed in a lovely private room! Two beds with pretty accessories that wrre calm and peaceful!

A choice of food was available for dinner and also dining time. Food was very good. The french fries, were better than any I ever get in the states.

Maria was also helpful in confirmi g a reservation for a bed for the following night.

This is definitely a "must stay" albergue.

don’t push yourselves to Astorga and stay here. The rooms are great.. nice outdoor space.. bar and restaurant on site. The hostess is so Nice!!You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best place to stop and have a nice break instead of making the grueling trip to astorga in one go. Wonderful vegetarian pilgrim dinner, comfortable bunks, great shower/bathroom area. Maria was an excellent host and I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quite place to rejuvenate for the next day, so thankful I stopped and had this wonderful experience!
