Mos is one of the understated pleasures of this stretch. It has everything you need for an overnight stay — a fine church, an albergue, a selection of bars, and the handsome Pazo de Mos — and nothing you don't. Leave town by continuing uphill past the albergue.

The albergue was full and so we got a room above Taperia flora the way someone recommended here. We found live bedbugs in the bed on October 1st 2025. Avoid.

This was the only place for dinner when we passed through Mos on a rainy Tuesday night. It didn’t open until 20.00 but the service was very friendly and the food was good.

Spent the evening with other pilgrims eating and drinking - staff were kind and generous.

Did not like the service at ‘O Alpendre Taperia Cafeteria’. Sign at entry says to wait for service - stood there for 5 mins while barman ignored me to finish his conversation with a friend before finally saying hello to me.

Very beautiful and charming village, super quiet and relaxing. Has a few cafes and bars to spend time in the evening. We stayed in the rooms above Taperia Flora- contacted via email- taperiaflora@gmail.com

Wer Lust hat sich kontinuierlich von dem Personal ignorieren zu lassen, nur weil gerade ein Fussballspiel läuft, der sollte unbedingt hier herkommen. Nach 37 km macht das dann sogar noch mehr Spaß zu Warten.🤬

The young woman working in the museum cafe checked me in and also served me food in the cafe. She seems unfriendly and I dont think she likes pilgrims. I ordered a cola and a small bowl of soup and was charged €8 which was overpriced compared to everywhere else I’ve eaten in Spain so far. The albergue was clean but a bit sterile. I was glad to leave. It was stormy while we were in Mos and it looked like a lovely place but there’s not much to do in terrible weather. Flora’scafe was nice and friendly and the food was a better and a good price.

A lovely and very tastefully done 3-bedroom house with a small pool and sauna, which were most welcome after a 29km stretch. Fidel, the host, was extremely helpful in guiding us around the house (sent short videos on how to get the key to the front door, operate the sauna, etc) and also recommended good restaurants nearby.

Nice Albergue, clean, lots of toilets and showers and only 6 people per room, which always is a win. The kitchen in the other hand, is minimal, doesn’t even have a proper knife.
The restaurant on the other side, can be loud at night, not a problem for us, but definitely worth a mention. The restaurant is nice, and the owner is lovely. Good food, and opens early. We ate lunch and breakfast the next morning, and was definitely satisfied, one of the best breakfast on the Camino :))

reception desk for this albergue is in the cultural center next door. basic albergue, but rooms had a capacity of 6 people which is always a win. mos is a camino town! the cafe across the street and o alpendre are the two food options available, but they were both delicious. the pilgrim store had new trekking pole boots for a euro each. this albergue is accessible by stairs only— about two flights. bathrooms were clean. a thumbs up from me!

24 de Maio de 2023 escolhemos ficar no Albergue de Mos.
Limpo e atende todas as necessidades. Zona de lavar roupa e secador de roupa.
Zona sem serviços. Tem um restaurante em frente muito bom e com pessoas simpáticas. Lugar sossegado, quartos e wc partilhados e espaços limpos.
Dispõe de cozinha sem utensílios Se optarem por fazer o proprio jantar devem levar os mantinentos necessários.
