The albergue was lovely, spotlessly clean, well appointed and has everything you need for a restful stay. Lalo, the host was so welcoming. He showed us around, including the garden, chatted with us and was very helpful. The private rooms were excellent and there were great shared facilities including a good kitchen, bbq and outside relaxing areas. This was a great stop before heading up the hill to O Cebreiro.

I have just arrived and haven't even unpacked. This place is beautiful and peaceful. The host Lalo was very welcoming when we arrived. He proudly showed us his garden that is waiting to emerge. The view is crazy beautiful. Room is clean and looks so new even though it's 10 years old.

The albergue was closed for repairs so I had a private room and I was the only one at the albergue. Lalo treated me like a friend. He shared some wine and espresso. He gave me a tour of the albergue and showed me a snakeskin he collected from the castle above the town. We played table tennis.

A group was using the kitchen and outdoor space to cook for their group. Lalo and I were invited to join them. More wine and lots of food.

The place is spotlessly clean. There is a lot of outdoor space to relax. Most of all Lalo is kind and wants you to enjoy your stay.

Wonderful hospitable host. Gave us Paella Rice from his own store cupboard so we could make a paella. Chatted and had a drink at the table with us. Clean good beds and showers. Supermarket across the street. River on the property to cool off tired feet. Overall a great place, relaxed spacious garden and a beer fridge in eating area.
Don t miss it !

This is where you have to stop.
Super clean and looks great.
Nice owner and perfectly arranged.
A few honderd meters back there is a marvellous restaurant Arroceria Espoñol.

I asked the host if the had a bed available, he said they were closed on Sundays but let me and two other pilgrims stay anyway since the municipal albergue is closed right now.

A lovely place to stay, with the host making you so welcome. The kitchen was well-equipped, showers fine and beds comfy. We loved sitting outside and looking out over the countryside.

The host as a pilgrim took notes as to what he liked and did not like in albergues he stayed in and created an albergue with everything - lockers for belongings with power outlets inside, well-equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms with hooks for your clothes, 4-6 bunkers in any given room, fantastic gathering spaces outside, host does your wash for 3euros with lots of drying lines. He is extremely friendly and relaxed.
