Kind and helpful hospitaleros even with language barrier. Modern Galicia municipal albergue with spacious kitchen with absolutely nothing. Older style washer and dryer.

Clean, modem, good facilities and social areas BUT absolutely nothing in the kitchen, no crockery, no cutlery, no cookware!! But microwave , washing machine and dryer.
This could be an amazing space / hostel with a bit of imagination !!

This big albergue is spotlessly clean on the inside but grass is overgrown.
One big drawback is that there are no kitchen utensils to prepare any sort of a meal.
A couple wanting to use the stove using their collapsible pot were told in no uncertain terms that it was not allowed.

We are app half way from caldas de reis and padron and the time for at meal. The meat is tender/ not dry, it somes with fresh salat and fries, the tortilla is splendid and the menu is in english too.
And the locals come here too.

The bar before the road split to O Pino is a great local bar, the food is great.

There is a bar close by where you can buy basic necessities. Really cool place with a balcony. If you’re uncomfortable with showering with other people, take note they have communal showers!

Great albergue with a big space to eat and kitchen with basic utensils, electric stove, microwave and fridge. Showers are communal but spacious. Very close (100m) there's the Los Camineros bar, it doubles as a mini market and opens at 5AM (COFFEE!).
