Borda was wonderful! Miguel, our host, is the perfect person for this job; best personality ever! Miguel was helpful, funny, and encouraging. The accommodations are nice and clean. Nice privacy curtain at your bed along with your own reading light and outlets. They seriously thought of everything! So glad I stayed here!

Peaceful, clean and private.
My first night on the Camino (14/05/2024) and was not disappointed. The venue is clean and tidy and well organised, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stunning views on a clear day.
The meal was awesome and our host provided us with very useful information about the track ahead.
Opening times are strict, so don’t arrive too early.

A great first night.
The hosts were fantastic
The rooms were clean
Showers were hot
Dinner was marvellous ( caters to vegetarians)

Fabulous hosts (Laurent and now his cousin); high consideration given to health and safety. Good hospitality, great communal dinner and fellowship. Be advised it doesn’t open till 2:30 pm but there is space to wait if needed hosts ad use on weather conditions and updates.

Really, an ideal way to manage Stage 1!

Really nice clean place. The host was incredible friendly. The rooms were really spacious and each bed had his own curtain, lamp and power outlet.
And the food was amazing.

It was really nice to be able to split the first stage (in the terrible weather we had).

I was in Borda on the first day of my Camino (April 8th 2024). It was great! The hosts were so nice and friendly and explaned everything. The albergue was very clean, the beds slept really wel and I've met other pilgrims. During diner Laurent let us introduce ourself to the others and that created a bond.
Great way to start!!!

Borda is our favorite place to stay. We stayed here May 2023 and will be staying again June 2024. Wonderful view, nice beds, and good food! I have to say the dinner was the highlight of the evening. Laurent is a nice person and excellent cook!
