There were two rooms filled with bunk beds, with each room having its own bathroom containing two toilets and two showers. The stay was €18 for the night, and each bed came with a disposable sheet, a blanket, and a proper towel. Every bunk also had its own power socket and privacy curtain, which made the space feel much more comfortable and personal. Lockers were available for each bunk to store bags and shoes securely.

There was a fully stocked kitchen with several tables that also served as the common area for pilgrims.

Booking through Booking.com was very straightforward and easy, with the €18 pilgrim rate available online. Entry was also easy thanks to a door code system for self check in.

The only downside of the property was that the room entrances were glass sliding doors, while the bathrooms were located outside the rooms. Since my bed was right next to the door, I was woken several times during the night by the noise of the door opening and the automatic bathroom light shining through the glass.

However, the host truly went above and beyond for me during my stay. I didn’t arrive until around 1500 on a Sunday, after the host had already left at 1300. Unfortunately, the office where I needed to collect my certificate was also closed on Sundays and didn’t reopen until late Monday morning. Since I was planning to leave early Monday for Fisterra, I explained the situation to the host and they kindly arranged my certificate and left it at reception for me to pick up before I departed. I was incredibly grateful for their help and thoughtfulness.

Overall, this was a very comfortable stay. It felt more like a hotel with shared rooms and bathrooms than a traditional albergue. I would highly recommend staying here to any pilgrim.

Buen Camino!

Lovely, clean albergue. Bunks are individual cubicles with own light, socket and curtain. Don't worry if you have a top bunk as the steps are solid stairs. Very helpful, friendly staff.
