Cereixa is a small hamlet between A Pobra do Brollón and Monforte. There's a bar a short distance off the camino to your left, near the church.

It is a Spanish steak with portions and tapas of Creole chorizo, eels, trout, grilled meat and homemade desserts. It opens at twelve in the morning and at seven in the afternoon. You can call to order.

Near the church there is a fountain where we can refill our water bottles free.

There is a carving on the shaft of the crucifix which is unmistakably that of St Roch, sometimes regarded as the patron saint of pilgrims.

There is a banco peregrino in front of the church and a sign to a water tap, tucked in an alcove, about 30 metres to the left
