We arrived at 1:30 PM and were initially assigned nice rooms at the hostel. However, at 5:00 PM we were unexpectedly asked to leave the accommodation and move to significantly worse rooms located about 200 meters away.

Particularly disappointing was that after speaking with other pilgrims, we learned that we were among the first guests to have made a reservation. Despite this, all other guests were allowed to stay in the original hostel, while only we were relocated.

Even more incomprehensible was that we had to pay the same price for the significantly worse room as we did for the originally assigned, much better accommodation. Neither the relocation nor the pricing was explained in an understandable way.

Unfortunately, this treatment of guests significantly tarnished our stay. In our view, the treatment was neither fair nor customer-friendly.

The most disappointing thing was that when speaking with other pilgrims, we discovered that we had been among the first to make a reservation. Despite this, all other guests were able to stay in the original hostel, while only we were relocated.

Even more incomprehensible was that we had to pay exactly the same price for a clearly inferior room as for the room originally assigned. We received no convincing explanation either about the change of accommodation or about maintaining the same price.

Unfortunately, this situation tarnished our stay and seemed to us like unfair treatment and not at all customer-oriented.

We reserved a private room here, and also had the Pilgrim dinner and breakfast. The hospitalero is very kind, and the dinner was excellent- lots of food, wine, and great conversation! Breakfast was typical- coffee/bread/jam. The room was comfortable, I’d highly recommend this albergue!

Stayed here in April 2026. 38 euros per pilgrim included accommodation,dinner and breakfast so worth the money. Dinner was excellent. Only issue was one toilet/shower for 12 people but generally very good.

I love the albergue 🥰🥰🥰🥰 many flowers !! Big area .the rooms are nice and clean . Friendly owner and the dinner is super delicious!! Wi-fi is good “not all albergue have wi-fi”.

Unfortunately were bumped into the annex so reviews can vary according to location within this albergue. So we had no hot water, no WiFi and no lock inside or outside our private room. 2 toilets between 17. A day spent by a cleaner and handyman would help a great deal!

The owner is a friendly sort, pleasant. Dinner is an option - heard it is good and a nice event. Served at 7:30, too late for my schedule. The shower by the dormitory entrance is a shambles and has about one minute of hot water. I connected to the WiFi, but the signal is so weak, it is unusable. In my opinion, the place is overpriced for what you get.

I don’t really get the comment below. I think we stayed in the same day but had totally opposite experiences. The shower was really hot, the wifi was not working but also here you can’t see the wifi signals to be shown. (Also most albergues do not have wifi). Dinner and breakfast was really nice. It worth the price, in the restaurant it would be the same price. The hospitalero was really friendly and helpful, I had a great night here.

Camino de Sant…

Very generous and active hosts. We went with Filiberto to see his horses. Dinner (pollo guisado) was one of the best dishes we have had in 4 weeks on the camino. Highly recommend if you want to engage with them.

More like a quasi mini ranch than an albergue - Very kind and genuine hosts, helpful and generous. There are many different beds, rooms and even houses to choose from so be specific in what you want and they will do their best to provide you with a great solution. Menu del dias are available - depending on how many guests you may be treated to a round table international guest group. The owners also breed Arabian horses and if you ask, it may be possible to visit them out in the fields - Stunning! - H.J.Appleby

Camino de Sant…

The albergue is lovely! Many flowers in the garden. Wonderful horses to watch. Nice and clean rooms. The food was delicious with salad from the garden. A lot of helpful information from the very friendly hosts. We enjoyed it so much and can highly recommend it.
