The Road

From town, the camino turns north to O Hospital das Siexas, the last hamlet in Lugo. Shortly beyond, on the ridge of the Sierra del Careón, it enters the region of La Coruña.

Stayed May17,2023 as a special treat. Friendly, superb room with top amenities. Dinner was fine and fresh, lovely dining room, excellent house red wine. Chicken with wild mushroom and fresh veggies sauce with rice was sooo good. Accommodating hosts. Worth the extra for a Camino splurge. Highly recommend.

Fabulous restored stone farmhouse. High quality paintings and Magdalena is a fabulous host. She and her husband are a perfect team. Much attention to detail in the plated menu, although pricey.

A beautifully restored very old farmhouse. Quite exclusive and a special experience. A new young family now run this. Prices have increased but a spoil on your Camino.
