The Mirador de Santallo is a scenic overlook at the entrance to Santalla. It offers excellent views of the Bierzo valley and the mountains beyond — one of the first of many impressive viewpoints on the Invierno.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

This stop is a first nice view of the beautiful landscape the rest of the Camino de Invierno will offer but getting there is not really easy since the road construction has put a path to walk besides the road on the other side with no easy way to cross. One would either have to jump a ditch or to walk back. It is not really worth the hassle since it is not a good place for a picnic. It is right besides a frequented road and therefore not really quiet. There are some stone benches and tables though if needed.

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

This is a great stopping point after the climb through the vineyards. Need to cross over the busy road walk around the corner then cross the busy road again and double back to the viewing point. It is well worth it and there are concrete tables/ benches to rest at.
