Despite albergue having a notice board outside with food and drink options they did not appear to want Pilgrims when we walked past around midday. Recommend the restaurant at the gas station at the roundabout to be sure of food/drink options.

Yes, all the comments about how wonderful this place are true. But a few notes: 1) Official check-in is 4pm (16:00), though I arrived at 12:30p and they were able to give me a private room by 1:30pm. 2) It is not in Salas but 3km before. 3) I was in a first floor room and it sounded like the people above me were tap dancing on my head. Zero floor insulation. 4) Breakfast is not served early enough for pilgrims who want to get out before 7:30am.

This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, period. Tasteful rooms, excellent food, peaceful surroundings, and a kind and wonderful host who serves up splendid meals. We felt so spoiled. Don't hesitate to stop here, for coffee or for the night.

After 24 days of walking and sleeping in as many accommodations, this place feels like heaven to us.

Everything is clearly done with the utmost attention. It’a beautiful, clean and very welcoming. We are two grateful pelgrims.

What a beautiful place! It feels like being on a retreat, so tranquil and calm. Spotlessly clean, cotton sheets for the bed and a soft towel :) Organic shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Home cooked food was excellent. Highly recommend.

We were there in late August. The young owners were friendly and enthusiastic to make our afternoon and evening exactly right for us. The food was home-cooked and “off the land” and an early breakfast was served for the caminoistas.
