Maslacq's main landmark is the Chateau de Maslacq, originally an abbey mentioned in the 16th century and reconstructed in classical form in 1774 -- a main building over two stories flanked by two wings. The d'Abbadie d'Arboucave family occupied it for three centuries. During WWII it served as a fallback facility for the Ecole des Roches in the free zone. Across the road stands an important circular dovecote topped with a dome. The chateau is private and not open to visits, but visible from the road.

This is clearly one of the most beautiful gîtes on the via podiensis. Beautiful room with a wonderful setting. Abundant and delicious dinner and breakfast prepared by the owner. You could even choose between fried eggs and omelette. Highly recommended!!

Gîte extraordinaire! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Maslacq, I can’t emphasize how fantastic this place is. Beautifully renovated and decorated with joy and creativity. Clean and bright. After 35 days staying in gites, this one was hands down my favourite. Beatrix was welcoming, warm and an interesting person with fascinating experience. There was nothing about my experience there that was less than exceptional. Highly recommended.

Quand vous êtes face à la mairie prendre la petite rue à gauche ( pas trouvé le nom). Toilettes dans la cour de la bibliothèque et su cabinet infirmier.
