A perfect pause along the path. Beautiful cafe with food that stays open in the afternoon.
Beer is fresh and cold. Views are outstanding. Cheers!

We had the paella which was fine, two glasses of white wine very good the Tarta pretty good and the fish hake with lettuce and potatoes that we would’ve skipped. But a good time to stop friendly service nice outdoor patio and back.

If you can resist the temptation to stop at the cafés before Boavista (and there are several) you won’t be sorry. A Cova da Meiga has a beautiful, large terrace at the back with the most amazing view of the forest and mountains beyond. Now I understand why the village is called ‘Boavista’.
