We too tried the shortcut that is on the map. It doesnt exist and might even be a dangerous choise.

Before Bao the mao has a shortcut/alternative route that crosses over the Autovía then crosses back cutting off some walking, but it doesn't exist. The Autovía goes under the path via s tunnel then the path follows along the Autovía but where supposed to cross back under the Autovía there is no way to cross. Very annoying as was tired and looking for a shortcut but instead had to walk back up the hill and return to Camino. Please remove it.

Someone has set up a water fountain in their garden for pilgrims, good place to refill!
