Lastur is a quiet mountain village about 5 km off the camino — too far for a casual detour, but the albergue here offers a peaceful alternative to the busier coastal stops. The owners will drive you back to the trail in the morning. If solitude after the populated Basque coast appeals, this is the place.

I am booked here for Sunday 25th August, and they have made it very clear they don't drive you back to town. I've booked but now have to get a taxi to and from.

The owners said it will be between €25 to €50 each way.

I'm hoping there will be others to share the cost.

Très accueillante, très propre, Maïténa est adorable et fait tout pour vous aider
Les chambres de 7 pour la mienne sont confortables, draps du dessous et oreiller propre fournis ainsi que petit déjeuner même très tôt
Excellent souvenir d’étape
