Camino de Sant…

There is a sign posted (unauthorised) detour left over a small bridge and into Granja. We had very welcome cold drinks and a good meal at the first cafe you see, 50m on the right, Sociedade dos Sabores. Recommend you RETURN to the original route where you left it though, as it isn’t far and the alternative instructions seem inadequate - we got lost and had to retrace our steps and return via the little bridge before continuing along the original route, up and over the big roundabout and on to Alpriate.

Camino de Sant…

Arrows now take you into Granja itself (Sep 2020). This is OK but on the way out of town the arrows seem to take you away from the direction of Alpriate. We ended up doubling back to re-find the right path.

April 2022 - the sign indeed takes you into Granja, and eventhough it is a little bit longer route, I think worth it, it is a beautiful place. Just follow the signs, they will take you back to the route to Alpriate.
