La habitación y la cama estaban limpias pero la habitación era muy fría ya que el radiador de pared general no estaba encendido. La habitación tenía un radiador portátil, pero no era lo suficientemente grande para calentar toda la habitación durante la noche. Como resultado, saqué la manta de invierno que se guardaba en una caja de plástico y la utilicé. Desafortunadamente, la mañana siguiente encontré que tenía 4 picaduras en el cuello. No estoy seguro si eran picaduras de pulga o chinches. Mi marido que dormía en la misma cama no fue picado. Por lo tanto, asumo que fue la manta de invierno la culpable ya que fui la única que la utilicé. No creo que fuera la cama, así que sin infestación.

El albergue también tiene muchas reglas y están pegadas en todas partes de las paredes. Usamos una sala de jardín para comer algunos refrigerios durante el día pero la encontramos cerrada a la hora de la cena. Es un lugar limpio y conveniente para hospedarse pero por tantas restricciones, no se sentía muy acogedor.

After a sleepless night in an Albergue last night I decided to stay at O Castelo. The lady in charge was very kind and offered payment in cash or card. This place is spotless and so far very comfortable . I asked her for help in getting a taxi to take me to Albergue is booked for tonight(and cancelled) but my back pack had been sent there. Instead of helping me with a taxi she organised her husband to go and pick up my backpack pack and bring it here. I highly recommend staying here. Hostel is on the way and there’s a nice church close by for pilgrims mass if your interested. Just down the road you have cafes, supermarket and specialty shops (food).

This albergue was very nice. We had a 4 bed room with bath (no bunks). Laundry facility tiny and limited drying space. The tricky part was the host. She checked us in, took our cash and virtually vanished. We had many questions and needed bag transfer and she was no where to be found. Disappointing.

Camino de Sant…

CASH ONLY. Climb up stairs. Free coffee and tea. Nice kitchen. Has terrace. Friendly staff. Had a private room with a shared bath and in my room I actually have a little sink as well room is about 11x13. Twin bed. Clean and I have my own balcony with a hanger to dry my clothes on. I haven't seen the bathroom shower yet.
