Jeg ankom 3 minutter over syv efter en ikke særlig venlig besked, der spurgte, om jeg ville være til tiden. Han var optaget med at sælge vin til en pilgrim. Så mine hastede sidste par meter havde været unødvendige. Da det blev min tur, fik jeg det fulde blus: at jeg kom for sent, og at der ikke ville have været en seng til mig i højsæsonen. Jeg følte mig behandlet som et lille barn... Beliggenheden er virkelig smuk, fællesarealerne er fine, men jeg fandt de sanitære installationer ikke særlig rene og senene virkelig klemt sammen. Det gav mig fornemmelsen af en slumudlejer.

Efter en lang vandringsdag ankom jeg lidt før kl. 19:00.
Ejer Manuel var ikke særlig velkomstende, endda lidt vred. Jeg følte mig ikke velkommen. Stedet er spartansk og der er for mange senge på de små værelser.

Solid gammelt landsted med udsigt over buskads, dal og bakker over for, smukt udsyn, hyggelige overnatninger. Ejer Manuel er en barsk gammel mand, der passes godt på pilgrimme. Godt køkken, tag din egen mad med, Manuel sælger øl og vin, men jeg fik en pæn flaske i byen før hvor der er to små markeder.

Rart sted. Kun med bjergeudsigt, så bring mad med dig. Har vaskebræt hvis du vil vaske dine klæder.

Absolutely beautiful setting on a hill looking out at mountains. There is a terrace to sit and enjoy the view.

As others have noted, it is wise to prepare your food beforehand and bring it with you. However, if you didn’t prepare anything, Manuel had a packet for sale with everything you need to make spaghetti and tuna. It cost €5. There is also a vending machine in the kitchen with snack foods and drinks including Coke and beer and some microwave meals. The kitchen has everything you need to cook - fridge, microwave, stove, oven, pots and hot water kettle.
Amenities are basic but sufficient. There are disposable sheets and pillowcases and a blanket on each bed.
Note that bicycle storage is not allowed.

Clean and comfortable. Scenery is picturesque and perfect! The cows 🐄 were an added touch.

Erg mooi op top van heuvel bij een
kerk. Gastvrij ontvangst en slapen in pittoreske kamers. Grote keuken en wasruimte.

Probably one of the best albergue I've been to so far.

First of all, Manuel, the host, is very nice and accommodating. He is very dedicated into making the albergue feel like home for pilgrims.
Don't hesitate to talk with him, he really has great things to say about the place!

Then, the place itself is quite big, it can host many pilgrims. It's located in a quiet hill away from the city and offers a gorgeous view on the mountains.

There are plenty of showers and toilets and it's clean.
There is also a kitchen with all you need to eat and cook. Just be aware that there was no pan when we were there, so if you need to boil pasta for example you need to bring your own.

There are tables in different places and even a very comfortable couch outside, it invites pilgrims to socialize together, but if you feel more like introspective, you'll find cozy and quiet places as well.

To summarize, it's a cozy place with a lot of character and I definitely recommend stopping there for the night!

In the green countryside, spartiate if you need a lot of confort but authentic camino experience with lot of room. All it's here thanks to the volunteer Manuel who take care of this place since 15 years.
