Stayed at casa sao caetano 20 sept 25. Warm and welcoming hosts. Alex even gave me a snack of cheese and glass of wine before dinner If you stay here opt for dinner with family so you can have a broader conversation. Had interesting conversations with Alex about the history of the knight templars. Definitely worth the extra trek past Golega

Had a welcome short day today and stopped over with Rita, Alex, their kids and 2 wonderful dogs in their wonderful home
A nice relax by the pool with a beer provided. Dinner with the family plus some great conversation

Fantastic family, Rita & Alex are the most welcoming of hosts. Pouring rain, and they were incredibly generous and accommodating. Highly recommended as they made a bad day more than good. The best day so far.
