The hospital Rio is wonderful and welcoming-he is an experienced pilgrim and knows how to make you feel welcome!

Such a welcoming place, and in the running for the cleanest albergue of all time! Large garden, excellent kitchen, and the town has everything, including a cafe just up the street that opens at 6 AM. We spent 3 hours at Conimbringa (highly recommended) and then it was a modest walk to Krypteia.

Krypteia is new but the hospitalero gained his experience working at the huge albergue in Roncesvalles along the Camino Frances. And he is warm and welcoming. A big plus is the garden in back complete with hammocks to relax and nap before dinner. The kitchen is complete wth stove and oven. In Cernache. This is the place to stop.
