I’m staying at the convent tonight (25 April) and it seems I have the place to myself. The sisters will welcome you, give you a stamp, collect the fee, and show you your room, then retreat into the cloister. To get in, go though the open door at No. 46 and ring the bell on the wall by the stairs. I’d probably still be wandering the streets if a helpful local hadn’t shown me what to do! The rooms are simple and clean, but definitely no frills here. I’m sure it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m liking it!
