Hinter Peón verlässt der Camino die VV-8 und beginnt bergauf zu steigen. Auf der Anhöhe trifft er auf eine andere Straße und führt zum Restaurant El Pinal hinunter. Gleich hinter dem Restaurant verlässt er die Straße für einen Weg zu Ihrer Rechten. Von hier geht es weiter abwärts, um die A-8 nach Deva zu überqueren.

He has a van and picks pilgrims up from the bar in Peon, Casa Pepito. He drops them back off there after breakfast.

There is a tasty communal dinner and breakfast. The space is so clean; the building used to be a banquet hall! It’s been in the family for generations. We had a wonderful evening playing guitar next to the log fire in their sitting room. I recommend it!

Stayed here May 2024. WhatsApp the owner once you get to the village church and he’ll pick you up. Superior accommodation, ultra clean. Best place I’ve stayed. Rainy evening so cosy log fire lit. Dinner excellent and plenty of it. After breakfast you’ll be driven back to Camino trail a 6 or 7 minute drive.

So a nice, friendly, welcomening and very clean place! The dinner was also great (vegetarian).
+34 616 07 67 72 (David), he or his mother pick you up at the church and take you back at the next morning.

Excellent place to stay, warm friendly atmosphere. Quality of accommodation and meals was one of the best.
They couldn't do enough to make your stay a good one.
Don't be put off by the free taxi to the Albergue

I’m not sure why there is no Albergue icon for Peon. I can strongly recommend the Albergue. As many others mentioned, David runs a wonderful, pilgrim-friendly place. We felt very well taken care of. Wonderful dinner and great sleep! It would be great if this app would add his address and his WhatsApp number to make it easier for pilgrims to contact him.

Me gustó mucho mi estancia en este albergue que está un poco alejado del Camino (3 km). 1. El dueño ofrece un servicio de transporte gratuito desde el restaurante Casa Pepito en Peón a su albergue. 2. Oliva, su madre, me hizo una comida vegetariana deliciosa. 3. Hubo un fuego riquísimo en la chimenea del salón! Muchas gracias Dawid y Oliva!

What a wonderful albergue! Has 4 single/ double rooms and a some brand new dorms - with full kitchen and a good laundry. And each bunk has its own power point for phone charging, etc. Dinner is excellent - €10 and breakfast is included. Full bar, lounge with log fire, and host collects and drops off at Casa Pepita in the village. A very warm and much appreciated welcome from host David and his family. They even made me a special vegetarian and egg-free dinner!

Located at Olla, at about 21 km into the walk from Villaviciosa, this restaurant provided a beautiful menu del día very inexpensively. Highly recommended.
