It was a hot day (late May) and I didn't want to walk all the way to Estella. This was the PERFECT place to stop. The river is perfect for soaking your feet or even swimming, while admiring the Roman bridge.
Albergue Etxeurdina was amazing. There aren't a lot of options for food, so a few of us cooked. The grocery store had everything we needed. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and there were things left by past pilgrims (oil, spices and even a bottle of wine!)
The hosts were lovely and the place had wonderful energy.

Walked in, friendly welcome with cold water, little pool to have a dip after a hot walk, 3 Euro jugs of wine, delicious vegetarian 3 course dinner, wonderful staff and great breakfast - highly recommend!

I stayed here two nights because of a bad knee. The host is super friendly and the dinner is great. Good atmosphere! There are footbaths and hammocks.
I definitely recommend this place.

An amazing stay and worth the stop

Camino de Sant… (not verified)

Walking along the road into town, I noticed a cut to a river walk below. Do take that scenic route that parallels the Caminó, and, then, rejoins it at the first albergue.

What an absolute gem. Owner is super helpful and enjoys his work. We stayed in a beautiful private room. Gave us several choices of routes to take tomorrow. Don't miss this gem.
