Un altro paese dotato soltanto di un bar e un albergue, gestito da dei ragazzi di Valencia. È il posto più promettente in cui trovare in menù la paella.

Le recensioni precedenti ti dicono che è chiuso, ma per me nel 2026 è aperto.
Edificio straordinario. Nessun letto a castello, veri lenzuoli, cuscini e coperte. Puoi avere un menu di cena straordinario qui. Non c'era colazione disponibile per me però, dovrai camminare 2 km fino al prossimo caffè, dove la colazione è straordinaria.

L'Albergue Mercadoiro ha stanze che sembrano un caloroso abbraccio dalla storia, con spessi muri in pietra e vecchie travi in legno che rendono lo spazio incredibilmente autentico. È immacolato e accogliente, ma la vera magia sta nel guardare dalla finestra o sedersi in giardino e vedere le dolci colline verdi della Galizia stendersi di fronte a voi.
È anche il luogo perfetto per posare il vostro zaino e godervi un ottimo pranzo. È un piccolo santuario tranquillo che vi ricorda perché avete iniziato questa camminata in primo luogo.

I really wanted to stay here but it didn't happen! I tried emailing twice, using 2 different email addresses, several days in advance of my hoped-for visit. But no reply to either.

Then I tried phoning twice and each time got a voice message saying the phone number was not available and to call back later. I tried WhatsApp too. In the end I wondered whether they had closed for the season.

On visiting the property today, while on my Camino, it was very busy (open). Unfortunately there were no rooms available 😭

A real upper class cafe, opens 10am. Albergue not open yet for season 5/04/24 but this is the nicest cafe and restaurant I've seen. Offers pilgrim brunch, but a huge range of other options too. Albergue looks really nice
