L'Iglesia de San Emeterio e San Celedonio è l'edificio più massiccio che ci sia. Come l'Albero di Gernika, era un punto di incontro per i Signori di Viscaya.

Il cammino

Dopo aver superato la chiesa e il bar all'inizio del paese, il Cammino arriva alla strada principale dove gira a sinistra e segue la strada fino alla vicina Larrabetzu.

Following the trees there are numerous large fallen trees blocking the Camino footpath route from Eskerika to Goikolexea. It is possible to navigate them but pretty treacherous so pilgrims may want to consider the road route instead

Camino de Sant…

From Goikolexea to Lezama it is only walking on road pavement/sidewalk so if your feet are tired (there is already quite a lot of walking on pavement this day) I recommend to take the bus from Goikolexea to Lezama via Larrabetzu. Alternatively take it from Larrabetzu to Lexama if you want to stop in Larrabetzu, which is quite nice and cozy.
