Jose greeted us with a smile, warm heart and incredible energy. His albergue is clean, cozy and well kept. He served a fabulous dinner of potato leek soup, pasta and apple tart. If you are musically inclined this is the place for you with a piano and guitar that he encourages you to play. Ask him to play the harmonica for you. He is quite good. LOVED the energy of Jose and slept quite comfortably. Heads up…there is a washing machine but no dryer. It was raining after we washed and some things did not dry overnight. It’s ok.
So happy we stayed here and feel honored to have met Jose.
Peace! ✌️ Buen Camino

Tomorrow as we get ready to walk to Santiago and I reminisce about the places I have stayed, this beautiful albergue was my favourite.
Everything about this albergue from the wonderful music, the warm colours, the homemade bread and the care and love shown by Jose, made it my NUMBER ONE favourite.
Thank you Jose.

I am stying in this small albergue today May 9 with only 10 beds run by José. There are only two rooms - a 4 bed room and a 6 bed room. The bunkbeds are very solid with bedlinen on and they are spacious and don't make noises when you lie in them. José is extremely welcoming and cooks the food himself. We were all sitting around one table and had soup with delicious bread, pasta with tomato and meat sauce and applepie for dessert. Everything delicious and in a nice atmosphere with few people just like a family. Dinner is only 11 euros and breakfast 4. 2 bathrooms for 10 people is luxury. You can wash your clothes. The village itself is not interesting but I rate this place 5 stars out of five because of everything else! One of my best stays so far!

Jose is such a sweet host who cooks a lovely homey dinner and made a vegetarian option for me. Rooms are clean. There's free access to a swimming pool nearby but I never went. Be aware that there's no shop in the town so eat lunch before arriving

. A small albergue with owner Jose being a wonderful host. The evening meal was delicious. Beds were comfortable with proper sheets and pillow cases. I would highly recommend this albergue if you end up in this village. I popped into the other albergue in town for a snack but because I was not staying there, they refused to serve me.

Had a wonderful stay at the medium-small, homely Alberge. The host José was welcoming, friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. He even walked us to the busstop, as we headed home after our stay.
José loves music, and had just the best playlist.
A delightful high note to end on for this year’s Camino.
