Booked Albergue Suseia based on the comments and it did not disappoint! Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Delightful garden in the back, perfect for enjoying a beer or glass of wine available in the dining room ( honour system of paying).
The Hospilatera Sara is super. Friendly and hospitable, her 4 course meal was filling and delicious: salad, hot soup or cold gazpacho, local dish of rice and tomato based sauce, homemade special yoghurt/pudding. Mid-meal appetizer of local sausage on baguette. Finished with homemade whiskey dark chocolate truffle. And enough (!) red wine for everyone to enjoy.
Highly recommend a stay here. Remember to confirm your reservation!!!

The owner is super nice and helpful. Clean and convenient location. 1€ for laundry (clothes you wore today) and they hang them to dry.

Our vreakfast consisted of a healthy Avocado and Tomato on toast which was very nice, and the Brioche with butter, marmalade and cream. Oh my word, this was huge - I'd need to do more than 20km to walk off that breakfast! 😳

The welcome medieval bridge was a delight. Soaked feet forever in the river as did everyone else. This was where my Camino family began to take shape as we ate our first tortillas with a cold beer. The Camino vibe had begun.

This place was clean, comfortable, and the owners daughter did our laundry for free! Great location too.

Thank you for the recommendation. Best breakfast we had so far on the Camino for a great price. The brioche bread with marmalade and cream was delicious and my daughter had the tostido which was also excellent. We also ordered a chorizo and cheese sandwich to go and shared it with leftovers.

Camino de Sant…

Opened at 0700 for breakfast - great coffee and really generous serving sizes of toast with cheese and marmalade and also tortilla. We asked for two ham and cheese bocadillos for lunch wrapped to go as we had read on the blogs here that nothing would be open before hitting the Pamplona suburbs. My husband ordered two, one for each of us, and they were huge! We ended up just sharing one for lunch, perched on rocks along the Arga, and saved the second for the next day. Very friendly owner.

Camino de Sant…

Only one restaurant open for dinner, near the far end of town, not great but totally fine.
