Sur la base du don, bonnes installations. Je ne suis pas sûr s'il y avait une machine à laver, mais pendant mon séjour, il y avait deux douches (chaudes :)) dans la salle de bain des femmes, et une toilette. Un hôte sympathique, comme beaucoup des hospitaleros que j'ai rencontrés, il avait un sens particulier de l'humour. Cela ajoute à l'ambiance.

Une auberge standard, ni meilleure ni pire que les autres sur le chemin en partant d'Irun. L'hôte est un gentleman très agréable et poli qui écoute de la musique classique, ce qui crée une belle atmosphère.
En ce qui concerne les installations, les matelas et les oreillers sont recouverts de plastique, comme dans la plupart des auberges, et des draps de lit jetables sont fournis. J'ai vérifié la présence de punaises de lit et je n'en ai trouvé aucune ; de plus, elles ne peuvent vraiment pas pénétrer dans ces housses en plastique.
Il y a une douche pour les hommes et une pour les femmes, c'est vrai. La cuisine est équipée d'une bouilloire et d'un micro-ondes. Pour la lessive, il y a des lavabos extérieurs pour le lavage à la main et des cordes à linge à proximité. Ils fournissent également des casiers pour vos sacs à dos.
Globalement, c'est une auberge tout à fait correcte. Je soupçonne que les avis négatifs pourraient provenir d'hôtels locaux. J'ai laissé un don de €15

I think that not every pilgrim contributes as the entire facility needs some updates.
Hostess was very friendly.

Only 3 of us in the Albergue so very quiet & no dinner or breakfast. Fine but very basic (and quite chilly!)

Great albergue. Staff are really kind and helpful and around alot. They were constantly wanting to help or make you smile! Good kitchen space with tea and coffee. Staff brought fresh bread for breakfast. Off season so no pilgrim dinner as others have written about. Great swimming beach and cafes around for food.

The albergue has a nice yard to sit outside, but the rooms are a bit crowded. The beach is only 3 a minute from the albergue and is super nice with lot of Spanish people. The supermarket is not nearby, but the pilgrims dinner was nice and plentiful. The ladies that ran it were very helpful in thinking along about possible places to sleep the next day. There is laundry and a drying line. If visiting with nice weather I would definitely recommend.

Arrived 7th April 2017, also find it closed. Stayed at same place and had similar good experience to 21/3/2016 comment

Camino de Sant…

Found it open in May 2018 and run by super nice volunteers. Unfortunately it was full by the time I arrived (18.30 hrs) and volunteers went out of his way to make sure we didn’t have to go somewhere else. Ended up sleeping on the floor on a pile of 6 blankets which actually wasn’t bad at all! It has a cute yard around which has a view of the bay. Wish I had arrived earlier so I would have had time to go swimming in the sea! There’s one restaurant/bar in town that serves a decent pilgrim meal. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Camino de Sant…

Super crowded with bunkbeds very close together. Humid. Not super clean. Hospitaleros didn’t seem too be enjoying their job, unfortunately.
