Ce gîte avait une jolie terrasse surplombant la vallée de Valcarlos. C'était un arrêt parfait pour la première nuit sur le Chemin. La chambre comprenait un "bon" pour le dîner et le petit-déjeuner au restaurant du supermarché à quelques rues de distance. Malgré le nom du supermarché, le restaurant était excellent !

Nous nous sommes arrêtés ici pour faire une pause pendant la traversée des Pyrénées. L'hôtel est un peu ancien mais bien entretenu. Nous avons apprécié d'avoir le restaurant sur place (bien que moins bon que Benta).

We booked what we had thought was a simple room for the advertised 50 euro on their website via WhatsApp. We arrived and we’re shown to the (albeit gorgeous) study/studio, which she announced was 70 euro. On a fairly tight budget this was a big change for us, and while we appreciated that we now surprisingly had a kitchen, it felt a bit awkward to negotiate this change on our first night. During the shoulder season there is little choice.
Aside from that, it is a stunning building, was very clean and the owners were friendly.

Wonderful place to stay for our first night on the Camino. Very charming and comfortable. Amazing views from the porch. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Stayed one night with my wife as the first stop on our Camino. Amazing view from the porch. The owner was very nice and helpful. Cute little town.
