Hay dos caminos de Mindelo a Ávore, uno por la costa y otro por el interior. En los últimos años, la opción del paseo marítimo se ha llenado de arena, por lo que resulta difícil para los ciclistas.

La pasarela está fuera de servicio en varios lugares. Uno es un cruce de laguna fluvial que es un poco difícil de sortear y requiere trepar dunas y caminar a través de un río poco profundo. ¡Considera pasar por el pueblo si no quieres que tus zapatos o pies se mojen y ensucie de arena!

Me hospedé en esta hermosa casa de huéspedes. Habitación y baño privados. El anfitrión es encantador. A corta distancia del Camino. Se sirve desayuno. Muy útil con recomendaciones de lugares para cenar y paradas en el camino. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Ve una calle atrás para obtener comida y bebidas más baratas, auténticas y muy razonables. También nos alojamos en una casa compartida ya que todo lo que miramos estaba reservado. Muy cómodo y asequible. Real Coffee fue uno de los lugares, también tiene cerveza fría y también O bistro delicio

We can confirm that the new Boardwalk is complete and a wonderful walk. No need to take the detour.

The new boardwalk is completely open, you can see remnants of the old one in a few places. Beautiful!

They’re still working on the boardwalk but it’s less than 100 meters you walk over a sand path.

Boardwalk closed but I still went anyway. Just go on the sand beside the boardwalk. Not a problem

We loved Bombordo’s in Mindelo. Good, tasty food, beer and wine… and a morning americano. Friendly, good service and a spectacular coastal location. Highly recommended.

Boardwalk is still out, but there is a signed detour through sand/dirt tracks a bit further inland which is longer than the boardwalk

When you get to the start of the boardwalk as you enter Mindelo, it is closed from the other side of Mindelo. If you continue you will
Need to course correct. Unlike the previous closure a little way back, here there are no signs until you go to far.. it’s an easy fix and the town is a great place to stop for lunch.
