A Fonsagrada

The Road

Be advised, if you have sore knees or feet, you might want to try the other route and NOT the A Fonsagrada route. I think the Buron route adds a few more meters but it might not have such a severe incline.

As others have noted there are now two very clear stone markers. We took the trail on the left, marked to A Fonsagrada which the app now shows with red dots rather than the usual green but it was a very steep climb up the trail to emerge onto the road at the start of town. I don’t know if the route shown with green dots and marked as being via Burón is any less steep, but it seems to be longer.

You follow the purple dots, however when you reach the very obvious stone pillars and signs to Burón, then you should follow the red dots and not the purple. The purple goes towards Burón before leasing back to A Fonsegrada.
So the explanation about keeping to the right side of the road is good but confusing that you change dot-colour for the main road.

Camino de Sant…

There are now very obvious stone pillars making the way, but the route to fonsagrada is different than the app shows, up a steep climb. It would be good to have the buron variant depicted on this map…
