Parece que he encontrado una pequeña joya. La señora de la recepción fue muy acogedora. El edificio se ve prácticamente nuevo. Las duchas y los baños estaban impecables. Uno de mis albergues municipales favoritos hasta ahora.

Vine aquí esperando cosas buenas, y quizás sea porque ya me he alojado en el albergue municipal en Castrelo, así que esperaba algo similar. Fui uno de los primeros en llegar aquí y por alguna razón ni siquiera me dieron la opción de quedarme en la habitación más pequeña… no podía ver cuál era la diferencia o por qué. Incluso al preguntar a la mujer de la recepción, me dirigieron a la habitación más grande. ¿Quizás tengas que no ser el primero para conseguir las mejores camas aquí? O quizás sean sobornos, quién sabe.

La habitación más grande tiene 32 camas en total, APILADAS una encima de la otra, mientras que la más pequeña tiene alrededor de 6. Hay un baño para TODOS estos arriba, y dos baños más abajo con algunas duchas. Eso es todo. Para unas 40 personas. Y estaba abarrotado aquí… quizás simplemente tuve mala suerte con el grupo con el que me alojé, pero todos eran ruidosos, gritaban y estaban borrachos a las 21:30 y merodeaban por los pasillos. Las instalaciones serían lo suficientemente limpias, supongo, y son modernas, pero con el grupo aquí simplemente apesta. Hazte un favor y consigue una cama en el albergue Castrelo de 12 camas e intenta llegar a Melide. ESE lugar fue un sueño. ¡Esto NO vale la pena desde Lugo! O paga un poco más (vale los 4 euros) y simplemente ve a A Toqueira al lado… buena comida, habitaciones más pequeñas y menos idiotas borrachos.

Very clean, modern and cosy. It has the same quirks as other Galician municipales—viz. beautiful modern kitchens with no cookware, utensils, or plates/cups—but I had stayed in a few before this so knew what to expect and had brought cutlery and paper plates. As long as you’re prepared for that it’s fine. Plenty of showers which work well. Private albergue next door offers communal dinner (not lunch but they did offer to make another peregrino a sandwich which was very hospitable)) for what is now €12.50, which I consider pretty good. It was tough pushing on the extra km from Lugo but it’s worth it imo!

This is such a beautiful albergue! Really modern and friendly staff! The dorm room is super dark for sleeping which was nice. Go next door to the other albergue for dinner (€12 for 3 courses). The only downsides: the smell of manure was pretty strong! We all struggled with it. Also the kitchen has almost no dishes or utensils so bring your own if you can!

i'm a solo female pilgrim and was great to be able to use the really large garden to set up for the night. still had to pay £10 for use of albergue, including shower/toilet/hand washing (although washing machine is available) and to charge my phone (kitchen is a joke there are no utensils or pots or crockery so it's pointless lol). there is a restaurant at private albergue next door. had my own food but heard from other pilgrims it was great :) don't know about dietary options next door... bring your own food for this stretch if you have special dietary requirements ♥️

Nice and clean albergue with a kitchen but no kitchen equipment at all so we couldn’t cook or even warm any food, not even boiling water since it was not any cups :(

Camino de Sant…

Municipal Albergue in As Seixas is clean modern and spacious. Warm recommendations. There’s also a restaurant in 100 meter distance. Municipal Albergues in Galicia are generally quite good.
