Llegamos temprano ya que habíamos tenido un viaje largo para llegar allí.
El hospitalero nos regañó porque éramos "jóvenes" y deberíamos caminar más.
Nos dijo que no podíamos entrar hasta las 16h. Lo cual sabíamos. Pero fue desagradable al respecto.
Una vez que el lugar abrió, aparecieron las senoras junto con el "jefe".
Fue nuevamente condescendiente y desagradable. Nos hablaba (una familia de 4) como si fuéramos niños. "Esto no es un hostel, es un albergue para peregrinos" y luego se sentó a beber hasta las 22h con un grupo de españoles. Haciendo mucho ruido.
El cartel dice 14 personas, duerme 13.
Tratan a los extranjeros como basura. A los locales como oro.
El agua está cortada afuera.
Duchas "solo por la tarde"
Trip de culpa donativos.
Si puedes evitar este lugar, deberías. El pueblo es hermoso. Pero el tipo que dirige este lugar es absoluto……

Llegamos temprano porque teníamos jet lag y era fin de semana de fiesta con opciones de alojamiento limitadas. Llegamos a las 10:30, el anfitrión salió y nos dijo que siguiéramos caminando una hora más hasta el albergue 12 tribes, y dijimos que estaríamos felices de esperar hasta las 16:00 para la apertura. Puso los ojos en blanco y cerró la puerta de golpe. Nuevamente grosero en el check-in. Grifo de agua apagado afuera hasta las 16:00. Se negó a otros caminantes porque no tenían acreditaciones. Solo 13 camas esa noche porque tenían a un amigo hospedándose. Hablaba inglés limitado. Trataba a la gente española mucho más amable (les dieron mantas apropiadas) mientras que a nosotros solo nos dieron sábana y funda de almohada desechables. Cierran las puertas durante la noche de 22:00 a 07:00, así que tienes que esperar a que te dejen salir por la mañana. Alojamiento por donación (no estoy seguro de por qué no son más amables ya que la gente daría donaciones mejores). Tenía wifi y duchas calientes sin embargo.

Por segunda vez ruego que cambien los núm. de teléfono del albergue Santa Ana de Pasai Donibane en el Camino del Norte, los que anuncian ya no son operativos. El actual es: 676 519 309.

Very nice and the couple who run the albergue helped us with laundry and made sure we had blankets to stay warm,

it was a blessing to find space at this hostel after a very tough first day. we got there around 12pm and were the 8th and 9th in line. we had to wait 4hrs to be admitted and the tap outside was turned off, unfortunately.

if you are past #14 in the line, don't wait. if you have a tent, there MAY be space in the garden, but the 14 beds is strict. No kitchen and the nearest shop is like 8min downhill

Clean, well run, able to wash cloths by hand and lines to dry.

It can be difficult to locate!! When your app ‘states you are here’ you will see 57, on the other side of the walkway is a stairwell, go up the stairs, after two flights you will see entry to two homes, you still need to proceed up many more stairs to the top, which is the Albergue. The volunteer was helpful. Good experience.

My first stop on my Camino. There is a strange rule here: no noise til 7 am, so I had to stay in bed an hour after I woke up. No kitchen or facilities for eating. Very limited space.

I passed by here on March 21st. Albergue was closed.
I stayed in the beautiful pension just on the harbour in same little town. A little expensive, but just beautiful, and including breakfast.
