Am Ende der Stadt gibt es Markierungen für eine weitere complementaria-Route, diesmal für einen Abstecher zur Iglesia de Soutomerille (siehe unten). Diese lohnenswerte Alternative verlängert den Weg um 700 m durch einen immergrünen Wald.

Keine Eile zu Lugo. Mein Rat ist, hier als Zwischenhalt zu bleiben. Alles ist erstklassig! Es ist Qualität wie in einem Luxusresort. Beeindruckend.

Ich hatte mir das Knie beim Abstieg von Hospitales verletzt. Ich ließ einen Tag aus und nahm einen Bus etwa 15 Minuten entfernt. Ich kam gegen 10:00 Uhr an. Sie ließen mich früh rein und gaben mir einen Eisbeutel für mein Knie. Dieser Ort ist eine Oase und ein Paradies.

Dies ist ein Muss auf dem Camino, es war so magisch und wir hatten auch das beste Essen auf dem Camino - ich habe es einfach geliebt! 5 Sterne!!

Wir hatten das Glück, diese Woche in dieser wunderbaren Herberge zu übernachten. Ein Juwel auf diesem Camino! Es ist meine Lieblingsherberge aller Zeiten. Die Besitzer sind hilfreich, und es war schön, mit David zu plaudern. Sie sind auch sehr rücksichtsvoll gegenüber Ernährungseinschränkungen. Das Innendesign ist atemberaubend. Verpassen Sie diese Herberge nicht!

Private rooms are luxurious - spacious and tastefully furnished - 60 euro, but felt more like a tourist resort than Pension. The albergue bunks are 20 euro.
Communal dinner was good value at 14 euro. Breakfast was thin, but only 4.
Lovely garden to relax in.
Very hospitable hosts
The smell from the cows could be an issue for some, and it would be good if they also provided a bath mat.

This place is incredible:
-the facilities are amazingly renovated with so much taste yet keeping the original style. Private room and dormitory are beautifull. The outside place for eating is so comfortable.
-the food is soooo good and generous. Best tortilla eaten in Spain. You cab stop eating 2 days before you plan to stay in the albergue ;-)
-the mother who cooks is very friendly, lively and loving. The father is like a rough farmer but so kind and the 2 sons are very helpfull.
You have to make your planning so that you spend one night there. No jokes!

Best albergue on Camino Primitivo for sure! Worth staying 100%! You just have to visit this place on your way! Atmosphere of old Spanish rural house with modern design makes it absolutely unique. Fantastic garden to chill after walk in hammocks. Great beds with curtains, laundry, clean and modern bathrooms- everything great!
And please don’t miss communal dinner made from local products from their farm- it was fantastic experience of mix of Galician food and owners hospitality, absolutely worth it!
Owners are super kind and friendly. Thank you!
Also it is only 15 km from Lugo, so you would have long day in Lugo as well!

Like walking into a 4 seasons alburgue...at 1st , outer street area was unassuming, but inside, you were transported in a superior sleeping, kitchen,bath areas that wot dissapoint. we're we rested outside and watched the cows stroll by...great dinner...breakfast is just toast..
