Verkaufsautomaten in der Albergue, die ein modernes, restauriertes Dorfhaus ist. Um dorthin zu gelangen, biegst du die erste Straße rechts ab und folgst den Schildern. Ansonsten fährst du geradeaus durch den Ort.

Schönes Frühstück mit Toast und Schinken. Öffnet um 08 Uhr. Nur Bargeld.

Die Bar Gorinos ist auch eine Herberge, die ich NICHT empfehle. Ich bat, das Zimmer zu sehen, aber der Manager sagte nein. In Jahrzehnten des Reisens wurde diese Bitte noch nie abgelehnt, also fragte ich noch einmal nach, um sicherzugehen, und er verstand und wiederholte ein bestimmtes Nein. Er war nicht beschäftigt – also entweder kümmerte es ihn einfach nicht oder er kannte einen Grund, warum seine Zimmer nicht gut aussehen – auf jeden Fall bin ich weitergegangen. Wenn ein Herbergsleiter sich nicht kümmert, hat er nichts im Camino zu suchen.
PS Als ich schließlich meine Herberge erreichte, traf ich dort einen anderen Kerl, der am selben Tag die gleiche Erfahrung in Gorinos gemacht hatte – ich hatte den deutlichen Eindruck, dass dem Manager alles egal war.

Beautiful stone building with super-modern interior. Really friendly and helpful staff who took me to the local Gorinos bar which was a similar great architectural stone building renovation with glass internal walls. Had delicious lentil and chorizos soup. Highly recommended…. well worth pushing on the extra km from Lugo to stay here.

Casa Gorino is the only bar in the area here and I was served raw chicken, cold fabada and with an extremely poor attitude from the waitress.

The Albergue accomodation is nice but cooking options are limited so I would avoid this stop if I could do it again.

Don’t usually leave bad reviews but hope this helps some pilgrims.

This lovely little bar with homemade lemon cake and other light bites is open. Sunny outdoor and indoor spaces. Clean bathroom. A lovely break!

Beautiful old stone Albergue that is really clean and modern . There is a kitchen but no cooking items . A frig , microwave and stove and the only local bar was closed. About 3.30 pm a van arrived and we could buy foods like , salami , cheese , yoghurt, fruit etc , and then a bread van arrives at 4.30 pm . Don’t know why the Bar was closed , was a Thursday, so maybe just closed Thursdays . 10€ , a bargain.

We then went to the albergue A Torqueira to eat something

The albergue at the beginning of town was closed today, but two nice bars are open for coffee, snacks, food.
