If you are a group of up to 4 looking for an alternative private place to stay, I can recommend the 'Appartamentos Puerta de Occidental'. 80 euro, 2 doublebeds, kitchen. Can be booked on Booking. Quite new, clean. Top for appartments have only weak WiFi

If you keep going along the mainstreet approx. 150 m instead of following the Camino in Corellano, you will find an excellent fountain to fill your water bottle.

Such kind people, and such a beautiful church, there is a kitchen you can cook in and the local store will have food you can buy for it. Nice courtyard inside with lots of flowers a place to do your washing and rest your legs. Absolutely amazing. We were fortunate to have a little tour of the church after hours by one of the caretakers who shared its history. Such a treat.

If you decide to stop for lunch or a rest at the bars in Cornellana. Be aware that the shell and yellow arrows pointing to the monastery and the Camino are on the other side of the road embedded in the side of a building. It’s very easy to miss the side street that leads to the monastery (and another steep asphalt climb)
