Esposende ist ein weiterer beliebter Sommerurlaubsort, der jedoch viel zurückhaltender ist als Städte im Süden. Es ist eine nette Kleinstadt mit breiter Uferpromenade, die bei den Einheimischen beliebt ist.

Wegbeschreibung

Es gibt mehrere Wege durch die Stadt, und außerhalb der Stadt teilt sich der Camino wieder auf mehrere Wege, um zur Ponte do Sebastião zu gelangen, die nach Viana do Castelo führt. Die folgenden Seiten geben einen Überblick.

Ich machte eine schöne Pause in einem Café am Ende des Strandes von Esposende. Es liegt auf der Straße, wo sie vom Strand abweicht, und hat saubere Toiletten.

Viele Restaurants sind von 15-19 Uhr geschlossen, einige sogar bis 19:30 Uhr. Das Municipal Mercado hat einige offene Restaurants. Das Suave Mar Hotel hat eine Bar mit Speisen.

Das Essen war fantastisch. Die Inhaberin brachte eine Tafel mit, auf der sie jedes Gericht erklärte. Das Essen war absolut erstaunlich. Reichhaltige Saucen, erstklassige Zutaten, und die Inhaberin war so aufmerksam und dankbar, dass wir ihre Küche so sehr liebten. Ich wünschte, ich könnte hier jeden Abend essen.

I went to eat my dinner at Mezza Local and was welcomed by the very warm and passionate owner Ana. The place has a few chosen, but extremely well crafted, dishes on the menu. I had the bouillabaisse which was amazing. Before choosing my glass of wine I was offered to taste several diffent kinds and the owner Ana was genuinly interested in make sure I got the right food and wine. Highly reccommed visiting this place.

Pedro was very welcoming, and this was a great place to stay. Confirming previous comments - comfy beds w linen, white fluffy towels, bathrooms clean and with bathmats, great kitchen and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

Some of the best food I have eaten in Portugal, lovely atmosphere and super friendly service. Women owned small business that is definitely worth a visit. Have the salmon!

Recommend staying here. Clean, fun style and small pool. Staff was great and the kitchen is fully functional. Grocery store close by. Would stay there again for sure.

Exceptional staff and great facilities. We had a private room that was very quiet. There’s a tiny pool and several outdoor spaces with lots of room to dry clothes. Outdoor balcony and inside shared spaces as well. Good size kitchen and easy walk to the beach to watch the sunset and many restaurants nearby. Seems to be popular with the kite surfing crowd. Highly recommend.

Amazing churriscaria overlooking the bay in town. I had the grilled steak, but the seafood all looked great as well. And reasonably priced for the quality and the view
