Antonio war ein großartiger Gastgeber und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Betten waren gut verteilt, wir waren zu fünft in einem Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Die Einrichtungen waren sauber. Möglichkeit zum Handwaschen oder maschinellen Waschen von Kleidung und Küche. Hatte eine gute Nachtruhe 😊

Obwohl es ein bisschen knifflig zu finden ist, ist O Apalpador eine willkommene Abwechslung zu den häufigeren Hostels voller Etagenbetten. Nur 5 Betten, nur für Frauen, was auch eine schöne Freude war. Die Suche lohnt sich!!

The owner is so sweet. He clearly wants every pilgrim to feel at home. Lots of sweet touches around the place (signing book, an explanation of why he started an albergue). Each bed had a shelf and power and lots of hangers around the bunks were a nice touch! No towels when I stayed. Foot massage machine was absolutely worth €3, don’t skip that :)

Sadly we never got to stay here, as when we arrived the host told us we should have phoned to confirm our reservation between eight and nine in the morning, and that there was now no room left. Nowhere had this been mentioned in any of our communications. He was unable to explain this, so we have to assume it was he who had made a mistake and it was an attempt to cover up.
We then had to try and find somewhere else at short notice. Not great.

What a delightful man, keen to help. I arrived with a lady who was unwell. Owner called taxi, helped lady to taxi and liaised with driver, then checked on me. So kind. Nice bathroom too, door that locks !

Loved the host- very helpful, did our laundry for 10 euros. Our room was single beds only- no bunks! (Although I think another room did have bunks so might have to specify). Rooms clean, bath was good. And we got a towel!

Comfy beds, hot hot showers, large bright spacious rooms. Great host.
