Ottimo posto dove stare e fare una pausa durante la salita dei Pirenei. Anche la cena comunitaria e la colazione sono ottime, senza dimenticare il magnifico tramonto!

Non è il miglior albergo in cui abbia mai soggiornato, ma è stato un sollievo ben accetto dopo gli 8 km in salita da SJPDP. Non avrei potuto fare tutto il percorso fino a Roncesvalles in un giorno. Le docce non erano eccezionali e hai solo pochi minuti, ma andava bene. I letti sono ok, niente di speciale. C'è una cena comunitaria che è stata piacevole. Prenota in anticipo perché si esaurisce mesi prima.

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno affascinante a Orisson il 13 aprile. La cena comunitaria dei pellegrini è stata davvero piacevole, ed è stato bello incontrare e chiacchierare con altri pellegrini. Un posto speciale per iniziare il viaggio.

Un soggiorno favoloso e cena comunitaria - se arrivi presto, l'area della terrazza è un ottimo posto dove stare.

Il lunedì durante l'estate il rifugio non apre per il pernottamento. Puoi fermarti per mangiare e bere ma non puoi rimanere.

Che bella vista dalla terrazza! Ci siamo fermati qui per pranzo, c'è un menu molto variegato offerto- Abbiamo mangiato il piatto del montanaro, era abbastanza buono tranne per le salsicce😟
Lo staff era adorabile. C'è una bella fontana del Cammino per riempire l'acqua
La toilette non aveva carta igienica. Non so se è un problema generale sul Cammino, ma ora sei avvertito- porta i tuoi fazzoletti!

Please don’t make the mistake I did and assume there would be another lunch stop along the way! This might be your only chance for food until Roncesvalles and you will need all the strength and calories you can get for today’s hike!

Our 3rd time at Orrison. Great way to meet pilgrims on day one. Wait staff were extremely friendly and attentive- especially when I upset my glass of beer all over our table. Our guy came, cleaned up my mess and refilled my glass for no charge. Dinner is filling and delicious. Will always recommend a stay here. Buen Camino 🇪🇸🥾🎒😎

We split the first stage into two by staying at Refuge Orisson. Great decision, since doing the first stage in one go is a really challenging way to start the Camino. We saw folks who had and they were very dispirited and practically ready to quit. Dorms are typical, with lots of bathrooms and showers for the group. Pilgrim’s supper was great and included everyone staying, since getting supper and breakfast with your stay is compulsory. Lots of food for everyone. We had a great time and everyone spoke about who they were and where they were from, and why they were walking the Camino. We really met our main Camino family that first night. Breakfast was good and we also got a packed lunch for the next day since there are virtually no services between there and Roncesvalles. Overall we enjoyed our first stay in an Albergue. Of course we didn’t sleep well, but that’s all part of the experience. I’d highly recommend staying here for your first night.

This was the most amazing natural landscape that i’ve seen on the camino but i would stop for a coffee and not stay. staff was efficient but STRESSED. no soap at sink and only 3 outlets for 50 ppl (and they’re down in the bar). i was in a huge room and it had rained and there was one dryer that was sort of working for 50 ppl to share. oh well, it made the subsequent albergues seem great!! despite all that, the sunrise leaving orisson in the morning was out of this world
